Stone crushing production line process flow

The process flow of the gravel production line is roughly divided into: silo – feeding – crushing (primary crushing, secondary crushing, tertiary crushing or sand making and shaping)-screening – transportation – sand washing – drying – storage. Each step requires different industrial equipment. Appropriate processing equipment should be selected based on the actual situation of the gravel production line, production capacity, stone size, budget and other requirements.

● Necessary procedures

The core of the gravel production line is feeding, crushing, screening and transportation. The stone is first fed to the coarse crusher (jaw crusher) by the feeder for coarse crushing. The coarse crushed products are screened by the vibrating screen, and the qualified materials are sent to the secondary crushing equipment by the belt conveyor(the secondary crushing equipment includes cone crusher and impact crusher. Cone crusher is often used to process high-hardness materials, such as granite, basalt, etc., with high compressive strength; Impact crusher It is often used to process materials with medium and low hardness, such as limestone, bluestone, etc., and the discharging particles are good). The unqualified materials are sent back to the coarse crusher by the belt conveyor for re-crushing.

Then in the second and third stages of crushing, this pattern is repeated to form a cycle until the finished materials are screened out.

● Additional processes

Silo: Not every production line requires a silo. If the raw materials are transported from elsewhere, you need a silo as a buffer. If the raw materials are close to each other, they can be directly fed to the feeder by an excavator or transport truck.

Sand washing: If the quality requirements of the finished product are high, or there are too many stone powders and impurities in the finished product, which affect the gradation and quality of the finished product, a sand washing machine is required for cleaning.

Drying: The sand that has gone through the sand washing step contains too much water. If you rely on it to dehydrate naturally, it will take too long. In order to speed up this time, you need to use a dryer.

Storage: Some production lines are built near construction sites, and the finished products can be used directly without storage. Many sand and gravel plants produce sand but cannot find buyers immediately. The finished products need to be stored first and then sold.

Coarse crushing equipment – Jaw Crusher

Jaw crusher is suitable for mining, metallurgy, building materials, highways, railways, water conservancy, chemical industry and other industries. It is generally used to crush ores with a compressive strength of less than 320 MPa.

Medium crushing equipment – Impact Crusher

The impact crusher can process materials with a side length of 100-500 mm or less, and has a maximum pressure resistance of 350 MPa. It has the advantages of a large crushing ratio, and the crushed materials are in the form of cubic particles.
